It was 5 years ago on August 27th that the Cowboy and I said "I do". As, I'm sure some of you might know, ranch work doesn't stop for anniversaries. So when the Cowboy expressed interest in a roping this weekend, I suggested it be our anniversary get away. We're headed for the place where it all began, Jackson Hole Wy. This is where we met and (dare I say the phrase that all carefree Cowboys hate?) fell in love. A year and a month later, we were married.
I recently found a killer deal on a couple picture frames. So that was my anniversary present (to myself). We have absolutely no pictures of us, let alone our wedding, in the house. So in my mission to find our wedding pictures for my new project, I was taken on a trip down memory lane. I'm dragging you along, if you like it or not. *evil grin and laughter*
While I was doing the "Bride" thing, and getting ready....
(My Favorite shoes ever, they light up blue every time I'd take a step.)
The Cowboy was doing the "Groom" thing, by doing this....
He was almost late for the wedding. In the nick of time, he showed up, and it began...
My Dad and I, priceless moment!
Ta-dah! We did it!
The cakes I made...rainbow chip inside! =)
Step 1 feed your new wife cake...
Step 2 very sly like, shove cake in her face...
Step 3 Be a nice guy and lick it off!
Classic...Bride gets boots shined in between dances....
Happily Ever After...well more or less =)
